(c) Seeking God with Pious Bob

A site dedicated to seeking a better understanding of how we might seek God more intensely in our daily lives by abandoning ourselves to Him and surrendering to His Will for us in our environments. In this, our goal is to recognize every moment of our lives as a sacred moment. Feel free to contact Bob at piousbob@gmail.com © Copyright, Robert H. Robert Halsey Pine
Gadsden, Alabama, United States
Robert Halsey Pine was born at Newark, Ohio, in 1943, and grew up in Rockville, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. Bob completed the 4-year program of Theological Education by Extension; Education for Ministry as provided and administered by the School of Theology, the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. Bob and his wife Penny live in the Gadsden, Alabama area, their home since 1969. Bob is an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter, Gadsden,AL, and is involved in KAIROS prison ministry. In 1993 Bob had an uplifting experience while going through brain surgery for the removal of a tumor. God's revelation to Bob during his illness has changed his life forever. This comes through in his meditations on the Word of the Lord in his book and web site entitled, PIOUS BOB~A DAILY DEVOTIONAL. The Rt. Rev. Furman C. Stough, VIII Bishop of Alabama has said, “Bob Pine is one of those rare Christians who can observe the world around him, and see the hand of God at work and not confuse it with human endeavor. The smallest piece of creation becomes for him the pattern of a God who loves and cares."
